Ms. Cynthia's Big Kids (After-School Program)

We as a Big Kids staff understand that Valley Day should not be an extension of elementary school but rather a place where your kids are safe, have fun, create, complete work, and grow in the Lord. Safety will be provided to your children by way of giving them a place to learn, grow and develop through a variety of activities with extensive supervision and protection. Fun will be given through free time with friends and organized games. Creativity will be guided by way of several options for art projects and expression through writing. Each student has the option of entering into the homework program, which is an avenue that they will be able to finish their assigned homework from school. Also, the homework program guarantees an available teacher to assist your student with any questions. Growing in the Lord will be developed by way of our memory verses, prayers, chapels, and reinforcement of the Lord's movement through Bible stories. The Biblical Principles that Valley Day is grounded on gives you as parents the confidence to know that your children are experiencing the love of the Lord through their teachers. Our staff is passionate about teacher-child relationships which will bring Valley Day kids a security and confidence about who they are as unique individuals made in the image of God, along with emphasizing their talents and abilities that bring them to success.
